Thursday, October 22 After 17 years as president of the Waltham Arts Council Grace Quinn has retired. She was replaced by Council vice president Catherine Jackson. The officers and board members are planning a testimonial dinner in her honor at the Chateau Restaurant. Entree includes either chicken or scrod. Cost is $25.00 per person. Waltham Mills Artists Open Studios The visual artists of the Waltham Mills Artists Association will celebrate their year of creative activity in two historic studio buildings in downtown Waltham with open studios from noon to 5 p.m.
The public is invited to this free event. The Worldwide Building, 144 Moody Street, is handicapped accessible. More information.
