Lexington Street, in Waltham, Massachusetts

Lexington Street enters Waltham from Lexington in the north (where it iscalled Waltham Street) and ends at Main Street, across from Waltham Common. Entering fromLexington, it crosses over Trapelo Road, and passes several shopping plazas on the right.It connects with Totten Pond Road and Bacon Street at Piety Corner. The turn to BeaverStreet is on the left as Lexington Street enters the downtown area. The Wal-Lex Recreation Center was at the corner of Lake and Lexington Streets until it closed in 2002.
