Dr. Nemzoff, a professor at Bentley University and a resident scholar at Brandeis University Women's Studies Research Center, lectures widely on family dynamics. Waltham Crossings Benefit Yard Sale The public is invited to a benefit yard sale at Waltham Crossings senior living community. The sale will feature clothing, furniture, plants, white elephant items, and more. Hot dogs, popcorn, soda and baked items will be available for purchase, and prizes will be raffled. The main raffle prize, a Red Sox gift basket, contains two Red Sox game tickets and fan gear. Waltham Crossings is located at 126 Smith Street, Waltham, Mass. All proceeds will benefit the Benchmark One Company Fund, a non-profit, tax-exempt fund that assists eligible Benchmark Assisted Living employees during times of personal emergency. Waltham Crossings is operated by Benchmark Assisted Living. Donations are appreciated. Waltham Crossings offers assisted living and the Harbor Program, which provides specialized care for those with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments. Waltham Mills Artists Association Open Studios Waltham Mills Artists Association Celebrates its 33rd Annual Open Studios at the Historic Mill Buildings at 144 Moody Street. More than 70 artists open their doors to the public for a free multimedia art exhibition. WMAA Open Studios is one of the oldest and longest-running Open Studios in the greater Boston area. You will see paintings, sculpture, wood-works, collages, ceramics, glass-works, prints, textiles, photography and jewelry on display. Architect Henry Hobson Richardson, landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted and housing reformer Robert Treat Paine joined forces at Stonehurst to create an ideal country home that became an icon of American architecture. Art and nature were fused to form this uniquely powerful place, surrounded by 109 acres of woodlands, meadows and trails. Learn more these three visionaries and this historic house through guided tours of Stonehurst on Thursday and Friday afternoons.
